Business Elite CEO of the Year 2016
With over 30 years’ experience within the social care sector David has always felt strongly that disabled young people should have access to a range of quality services that can help improve their quality of life. Since joining the organisation in 2006 David has worked tirelessly to increase and maintain the quality, diversity and reach of Birtenshaw. In doing so he has ensured that disabled young people are supported to take part in meaningful and enjoyable activities, engaging in the same learning and social opportunities as their peers.
Under David’s leadership the organisation has overcome significant challenges to become what it is today through an ambitious, yet measured, development strategy. Wealth and Finance International have been able to highlight many of Birtenshaw’s achievements throughout the article, from the development of Birtenshaw’s flagship purpose built school to the expansion of Children’s Homes and new Short Breaks Centre.
We would like to say a huge congratulations to David from the whole team at Birtenshaw!
