Fun and positive learning environment at Birtenshaw School, Bolton
The past few weeks have been uncertain for everyone and many areas of life have had to change.
However at Birtenshaw School, Bolton we understand the importance of maintaining structure and normality for disabled people and those who are Autistic. With this is mind, staff have been working hard to create a fun and positive learning environment, maintaining structure and routine and ensuring pupils continue to enjoy their time at school and have opportunities to engage with their peers in a safe environment.
Pupils in Goshawks class have been working towards their targets in numeracy; recognising days of the week and months of the year. They played games of snap and were then able to independently sequence the days and months.
In BTEC Cooking Skills they made some Easter egg cheese cakes, and they were YUMMY!
