Huge congratulations to Karen who has recently celebrated working for The Birtenshaw Group for twenty years. 🎉 🎉 
Here’s what she said when asked about her journey:
“I started my career as a so-called dinner lady progressing to my current position as Head of Service for Children’s Care Services.
“Coming to Birtenshaw inspired me to move into care services.
“At first, I worked evenings as a support worker to gain experience and this developed a passion within me to do more.
“With support from Birtenshaw, I moved to the position of team leader where I was inspired to support the staff I worked with.
“I continued to progress into the post of Registered Manager leading a team to achieve an Outstanding judgement by OFSTED which was one of the many highlights of my 20 years of service.
